How An AR-15 Rifle Works: Part 2, Function

The AR-15 rifle accepts standard standards NATO magazines with a variety of different capacities and has a grip protruding from the line of the cylinder head, which results in a highly adaptable and configurable rifle.

It can be equipped with accessories such as a bipod, retractable or folding butstocks, with a rail systems to add flashlights, laser, telescopic sight, etc.

The receiver has two sections, upper and lower, separated and easy disassembled without tools. The top section is considered as an accessory isolated and can be purchased from various suppliers. This is attractive to those who want to purchase several upper sections of different sizes and swap them, using the same lower section.

However, users should be aware of the configuration of the rifle, since it is possible that there are laws that restrict certain modifications.
