Russian Media Tells Citizens To Prepare For Nuclear War

A Russian state news agency has told its citizens to prepare for nuclear war just prior to the strikes in Syria carried out the US, UK, and France last night.

Russia’s Vesti 24 guided viewers through charts and images showing the necessary amount of food and supplies each family should have on hand in the event of a nuclear war.

The trifecta of Western nations struck various facilities in Syria under the pretext of a chemical strike that the US claims was carried out by the Syrian government.

Over a hundred naval and air-to-ground missiles were fired at sites that were determined to, in some way, take part in developing, producing, and implementing chemical weapons.

Prior to the attack, Russia’s ambassador to Lebanon claimed, “If there is a strike by the Americans, then the missiles will be downed and even the sources from which the missiles were fired.”

The Russians have claimed that 70 of the inbound munitions were shot down, but that number cannot be verified and is likely heavily inflated.

However, the Russians never made good on their threat to engage the “sources from which the missiles were fired…” as the Western aircraft and warships were not engaged.

At the request of Russian President Vladmir Putin, a U.N. Security Council meeting is currently being held to discuss the Syrian missile strikes.
